Rivet Nuts are available in aluminum, steel or stainless steel. A Keyed version is designed to enhance torque resistance. A Closed End version is available for applications that require a tight seal such as in a fuel tank. The Rivet Nut is offered in an Open End Flat Head version or an Open End Countersunk Head version which installs flush with the surface of the mating material. It performs as a rivet to fasten two or more materials together. The Rivet Nut is a round body, internally threaded, blind fastener.
